As a participating employer in the scheme, Avon Pension Fund wish to consult with you on the updated Pensions Administration Strategy (PAS). Your feedback is essential to ensure the strategy is clear, practical, and supports our shared goal of delivering a high-quality service to members.

The PAS was approved in principle by the Pension Committee in September and is now in a consultation period, encouraging employers to feedback on the updates. We strongly recommend that you review the PAS, as it details the responsibilities of both the Fund and participating employers. The updated document focuses on improving data quality, service standards, and overall efficiency in pension administration.

Key areas covered in the strategy include:

  • Employer responsibilities and performance expectations
  • Data submission standards and deadlines
  • Communication and engagement protocols
  • Penalties for non-compliance

Employers are invited to respond to this consultation by 30th January 2026 5pm. Please ensure your response is submitted by this date. If no response is received, we will assume acceptance of the revised PAS and its terms. Any feedback received will be considered, but unless explicitly stated otherwise, it will not be treated as a rejection of the PAS.
