Ahead of the implementation of the Pension Dashboard, it’s very important that all member addresses are current and recorded in the correct format, particularly the postcode.
This is because the address and postcode will be used to match members with their pension figures once the Pension Dashboard is live.
If they are unable to log in to the Dashboard, due to their address being incorrect or in the wrong format, they are likely to contact both us and yourselves. You will need to change their address on your records, as it will be passed onto the Avon Pension Fund via your i-Connect submission.
It would be helpful if you could start to regularly review your addresses. The correct format:
- House number and street name to be on the same line.
- The postcode must have a space between the first and second parts for example AB4 3HY, not AB43HY.
- The postcode must be in the postcode field.
