Employers can now access a range of resources created by the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). They are designed to help promote the benefits of the scheme to current and prospective members.
We encourage you to use Pensions Awareness Week (14th to 18th September 2026) as an opportunity to share these resources with your employees and raise awareness of the value of LGPS membership.

The toolkit includes social media assets and posters, to be shared during Pensions Awareness Week.

Display these posters in staff areas to promote the benefits of the scheme and encourage employees to find out more about their pension.

Share this leaflet with prospective employees and new starters, to help them understand the benefits of joining the LGPS.
You will also be able to access the leaflet through the New Starter section of the employer website after Pensions Awareness Week.
